Romney.Ryan Rally!
Tuesday afternoon Justin sent me a text saying that Romney and Ryan were going to be in town that night... and like 5 minutes from our house at Red Rocks Amphitheater! (you might remember our first visit there... when Uncle Joggy was in town... Click HERE to relive that awesome adventure!)
SO, Justin said he got us 5 tickets! Totally spur of the moment... we decided to go!! It was pure crazyness... but we're the CRA-CRA's... and dude, these moments help us feel like we are livin'... Boo-ya!
I was just SUPER grateful Brinley took a nap that afternoon... (pepper too! how sweet!)
These two were really excited to go to their first presidential rally! and we were lucky enough to find an awesome (free) parking spot on the side of the road, in the little town called Morrison!
We had an awesome hike up to Red Rocks... (we did the math... and turns out we walked 2.1 miles EACH WAY! Our kids awesome, awesome little hikers. J carried B most of the way.)

It could not have been a more perfect night for them to be in town! We were able to hear Rodney Atkins(country singer) and Kid Rock to 'rally us up'! I felt like i was in high school again, listening to Kid Rock... but he used very clean language and was really cool. Rodney Atkins was adorable singing to the cute little old ladies in the handicap section! Then Ryan and Romney came out and the crowd went crazy!! I yelled a few "AMERICA's" myself... It was spectacular!
how cool is that...?? RR! word! (oh, and that 'nose bleeder' section in the back was packed in no time... this place was over flowing with supporters!)
So glad we went. the kids were little zombies but it was worth it. We all went right to sleep after we got home. Never thought i'd go to bed at 9:30! So GREAT!
Praying for a RED COLORADO in two weeks!! :)

Baseball
Last week, Will, filled up his 'Good Deeds' chart. and we took him to Goodwill (pun intended!) to get come gently used sports equipment... he'd seen the neighbor boys playing baseball and football out side and thought he, "Hey, I need that kinda stuff!! "
We were able to enjoy the last full week of sunny fall weather before the snow hit today! These two were cracking me up... Does this remind anyone else of Charlie Brown and Lucy??
i just happened to have my camera out and saw this... what a funny little guy.
This was a real tender moment... :) love my boys!

I can't believe October is almost over... Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks...

Brinley's favorite past time...
Pepper has a new look... she walked right through a Brier patch on a walk... poor thing couldn't even open her one eye she had SO many Briers on her face and in her hair... so PETCO to the rescue!
Lookin' pretty good, Pep! Will said... "Whoa, she looks like a Chihuahua!"
... and sportin' a new pink sweater!
Little B loves her scooter...
Justin continues to be a stud! (love you, babe!)
I painted our cute little family at Super Saturday craft fair... how cute are we?

Brin and Mommy met daddy for lunch at Jimmy Johns last week!
Conference Weekend...
we found a few projects to work on while listening to conference. J found this cute rocking chair behind will in the pic below, he worked on stripping the paint and we'll stain it and cover the seat with awesome fabric! I made a few snakes for the kids out of recycled fabric and stuffing i had laying around.
The Bear Creek Trail... happens to be one of our favorite spots to bike/run/walk... i couldn't get over how beautiful it was and snapped this picture one day... ahhh!

Pumpkin Hunting...
It's that time of year... The kids had a fun time hunting for the perfect pumpkin to take home! Thanks Grammy and Papa for pumpkin money! We wish you could have been with us to help pick them out!
