(Mommy, Brin and Cait had a fun Girls night... we made dinner and treats, watched a movie, painted and had just a blast... in the morning we met up with some friends and went to some serious yard sales!!)

Today, they say ...

Virginia is for Runners!

and My buddy, Jess and i had a good time running in the 8K bright and early this morning at 7 am!! And I was so grateful i didn't have to run it alone... Poor Linda has Bronchitis and couldn't join us and we missed her and hope she recovers soon! We were almost to the finish line, we saw this cute little 2 year old (and handsome 34 year old) cheering for us on the side lines... what a site!

after the race we headed to the car and enjoyed some beautiful Virginia scenery... This is the Capital where they are currently filming a Spielberg movie about Abraham Lincoln! (awesome)

For me, Happiness is doing something positive while surrounded by an awesome friend and dear family... and getting a medal for it! Word!

The Back Yard Project!

It's time we put our foot down... on green grass that is... it's sad to send the little ones in the back yard with just sticks and moss... A few weeks ago we went to town to get it in shape for some seed...

NOW, we wait for our lovely soil analysis to be processed... to tell us if our back yard will actually grow green grass... and not just moss. I also see a tiller in our future... a part of me is really grateful that it hasn't been super cold at night. The humid weather and rain we've had over the last week is super good for the ground and good for seeding weather! Word!got to admit... this is pretty exciting!
