This picture was taken Jan 2006, Caitlin was 10 months old! I believe this was one of the first times she used this 'sippy' cup... (what a cute baby, this gets me really excited to have another little girl!!) I made the 'pillow' behind her head because she's so short and would bump her little head on the back of the high chair!

This is hilarious to me...

After lunch the kids wanted to watch a movie. "Buzz, Buzz, Buzz..." the shouted! Cool, that was easy. So, I popped Toy Story into the DVD player...
and for some reason our copy of Toy Story sometimes defaults on the French voice over... so as soon as I heard this... I said out loud, "Oh, man it's in French again!" and I reached for the remote to change it back to the English version...
Caitlin saw me do this... and said, "NO! I want to watch it in Franch!"

That totally stopped me in my tracks... "Really? You really want to watch Toy Story in French?"
"Yes, in Franch!"
"OK!"

About 8 minutes into the movie... she said something to the effect of...
"Umm, I can't want this... I want to watch the other movie...!"

"You want to watch it in English?"

"Yes, in Emblish!"

I knew it... I just wondered how long it would take to set in that she actually had NO idea what was going on... Will however... stuck around for only 30 seconds... HA!

Another Swing Bag...

This is a bag I finished last week, for a good friend of mine's roommate.
She picked the fabric and I got to work. I'm starting to get the 'swing' of things on this bag... Yeah, I've made enough... you'd think I could sew one in my sleep now!
I love how Caitlin just jumped in both of these pictures.
She is the sunshine in my day...

Offer on the table: If you are dying to have one of these hand crafted bags from ME... I'd love to make you one! The hard part for me is picking the fabric, I'm afraid I'll pick the wrong color, or something you will not like! Feel free to go to your local fabric store and buy 1 yard for the exterior fabric and 1 yard for the interior fabric... and I'll whip one up for you. (100 % cotton). I do use batting in the middle so maybe throw in a buck or two for that... but in a week or so... you could have a new sweet bag!

Zzz...

Poor little Will wasn't feeling very good last week...
I found him a few times snuggled in the most random places. I was glad he was taking the time to sleep... as it IS the best medicine.
This was so cute, he set up a little bed for all his trains too!On this particular day, Will fell asleep under the table while I was using my sewing machine! I actually moved the bench out of the way so I could take the picture... he was wedged pretty far under there... maybe he got stuck and gave up.
He was feeling a little better this day, but insisted on wearing his boots all day, and was trying to get comfortable on the warm laundry I just pulled from the dryer.

Last night he fell asleep just outside our bedroom door ... I didn't think to take a picture of it...
Now, it's Caitlin's turn to feel a bit crummy this week. It's just that time of year.
Blah. I want spring!

Happy ONE month!!

Mr and Mrs. Brandon and Shelly!!

Since I never really posted pictures from the wedding I thought I'd do a little, Happy 1 Month post! Here are picutres from January 1-5th 2009!

PS. I'm almost finished with your quilt! :)
Pictures soon!

This is my Dad's sister, Clink, we flew out to PA together for the wedding!

This is my 'shower' gift for the happy couple.
(better late than never...)
Reverse side... ha.

This is the beautiful Church Shelly and Brandon were married in!

Brandon gave me a tour of his cute little apartment. Here he was making fun of how deep the pantry goes... ha! At least he has a place for the S & P...

Aww, I thought this was cute. I made these for Brandon and Shelly... they are just chillen' on the couch. Green and Pink Steve.

On our way to the wedding rehearsal... Shelly and B sporting the "practice bouquet"
(...which were all the ribbons from the Bridal Shower!)

This is the inside of the Church where they were married. It's absolutely stunning in the day light... all the windows are stained glass... wow. just breath taking!

After the Rehearsal, we went to dinner at a pizza place... and then headed to the church to make last few touch ups...

They are not excited at all to get married... huh?

The BIG day! Mother of the Groom, Mama Sue with Aunt Clink

Clink with 'special' brother, Father of the Groom: Papa John
Nah, he's just really excited!

Enoch and "Uncle Panda" (he called me that last Christmas! ha!)
This time, when I was visiting... he was telling his mom in the car... "I like Antie Panda... He so funny!" I love my sweet nephew!
The Bride!
Amy: un-wrapping the flowers
After the wedding, before the dinner.
Sorry it's a bit out of focus.
Maid of Honor, Katie. Best man (in back) Billy. and Justin (from the wedding party!)

this is so cute... Shelly poking her head in behind us... :)
PS. Dad called us his 'little leprechauns" the whole evening.

The next night... Brandon and Shelly surprised us by delaying their honeymoon one day... they came and hung out with us, ate left overs from the reception, including the chocolate fountain goodies, opened gifts and then we played CLUE! (one of the gifts they got!)

Mmm. Chocolate
