The Back Yard Project!

It's time we put our foot down... on green grass that is... it's sad to send the little ones in the back yard with just sticks and moss... A few weeks ago we went to town to get it in shape for some seed...

NOW, we wait for our lovely soil analysis to be processed... to tell us if our back yard will actually grow green grass... and not just moss. I also see a tiller in our future... a part of me is really grateful that it hasn't been super cold at night. The humid weather and rain we've had over the last week is super good for the ground and good for seeding weather! Word!got to admit... this is pretty exciting!

'bout time we did something with dat family room...

OK, so we broke down and actually DID something with the family room. Whhoooooo! There are still a few things we need to do... but for now... lets just say... HUGE IMPROVEMENT, this house is starting to look like a home... OUR HOME!

While that dried... we decided to test out some paint samples... What's better than paint samples??? Little Helpers with little rollers... (love them!)

Kidz' Roomz

I finally added curtains and art to the kids rooms... (Not totally finished, I would like to add framed picture of the Temple in each room, too! as suggestion of Pres. Monson! :) That's my next project!)

President's Day...and after

Bank Holidays are the BEST! We love having Daddy/Justin home... this president's day we took a trip north to IKEA for the afternoon...

Justin's Buddy from Young Mens let us borrow his sweet ride so we could bring home a new bed frame that we've been saving for since beginning of September! Whoa. long over due. It was a great day for a mini-family trip...

IKEA rocked the house, not only did we get an awesome price on our bed frame and side tables... BUT they also paid for lunch! LOVE. IT.

Tuesday and Wednesday were devoted to painting the Master Bedroom...



happiness is having a place to rest your head for the night... ("like a hollow tree, or a house full of dwarfs; i hear they are very hospitable!")
