Families Helping Families - Mexico 2012
Dear Friends & Family:
Over the past few years,
members of our family have participated in humanitarian service work in
Ethiopia and Mexico. This year, we plan
to return to Puerto PeƱasco, Mexico, with Justin’s family to spend the week of Christmas building three more homes from the ground up.
We will participate with a record 140 folks from various families around
the west who, like us, are making this a Christmas tradition. (Post about our 2010 trip)
One of the families who will
receive a home built this season is:
Edythe Fuentes, a single Mom, and her children—Jasmine
(age 5);
Giovanni (age 8); Alex (age 10); Tony (age 11); Maria (age 16); and Adrian
(age 19)
As you can see from their photo, the Fuentes family lives in humble circumstances. Like many local families, they have assisted our
Families Helping Families group by providing many hours of labor toward building
others’ homes in previous years. This year it is their turn to be on the
receiving end!
Building this home will cost approximately
$23,000. Our family is working to raise at least $3,000 toward that cost, and we invite you to contribute toward this worthy cause! Donations of all sizes are welcomed.
Our
deadline for submitting contributions is December 15th.
Whether a few bucks or several, if you can afford to join with us, please take a few minutes today to either:
- Mail a check to us payable to Families Helping Families
- Make a contribution online through PayPal® at http://www.fhfmexico.org/donate/give-money
Please email us at cracrofts@gmail.com if you donate using PayPal so we can track your donation OR if you need our current mailing address in Lakewood, Colorado.
In response to your financial
support, we will:
- Guarantee that every penny goes 100% into building materials
- Provide you with photos of the trip
- Send you a receipt showing your donation to this tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization*
From experience, we know that
your life will be blessed as you share your means with the Fuentes family. Please join us in making the world a better
place this Christmas, one home at a time.
Merry Christmas!
Justin, Amanda
Caitlin, Will &
Brinley

AND we found an AWESOME deal on a pre-light Christmas Tree CYBER MONDAY at Joann Fabrics... Dudes, you can't beat $35.00! It's perfect! the kids had a GREAT time decorating it.

We had a wonderful time visiting with Bart and Judy, Don, Ty and Livy, Ashley, Karl and little Rowan, after dinner. We sure love our family!
Friday, the men headed out to THE NEW BOND movie and the ladies and kids skipped over to City Creek Mall to check out some Black Friday dealz. We scored at H & M when the kids found these cute outfits... dresses $10 each. Will's awesome green pants $5. and sweater $10! love.
