We had such a GREAT weekend! Fun, Fun and MORE fun!
Friday Afternoon we picked up Daddy for a picnic to celebrate that the work week was almost over! It was SO GORGEOUS out side and zero Humidity... so naturally, we LOVED being outside!!

Enjoying a delicious picnic...

Cute little park... Brinley was SO excited about her blue shoes, she was walking everywhere with a big smile on her face.

lunch break happiness...

Dirty feet... time to go.
Friday NightWe decided to try a NEW adventure... THE DRIVE IN!!
It really was an experiment... because we didn't know how the kids would do... and at the last minute we invited our neighbors across the street to join us... SO glad that we did because we all had an awesome time together! This Theater is out in "THE GOOCH" as they call it... (Goochland County, VA).They were playing
Toy Story 3 and
Eclipse!
Toy Story 3 started around 9 pm... and ended around 10:50ish. Both Caitlin and Will stayed up for the whole show, surprisingly. Little Brinners fell asleep somewhere in the middle of the show...but it was SO much fun to watch her watch the movie... she just loved every minute of it that she could stay awake; giggles galore! After Toy Story, Caitlin and Will rolled out their sleeping bags and went to bed in the back of the Pilot (I think they were more excited about sleeping outside/in the car... than seeing the movie!)... and Mommy and Daddy broke out the walk man and head phones and sat back and enjoyed
Eclipse!! It was such a GREAT night! (P.S. The Stars are amazing out there!)
Wow, Love Movies... LOVE DRIVE-INS! Yay for a fun family night!
Here's Will before the movie... making 'spider webs' in the back of the car with the seat belts!

Ready for the movie to start with Buzz and Woody toys and matching hat! (ha, and i guess his shoes are toy story too!)
Saturday Morning...We did a little yard work!

Pepper stood close, reminding us that 'play time' always follows 'hard work'...

Little Helpers...

Then... the mail came with a FUN surprise from NANS and POPS!!! I was inside the house cleaning the kitchen and all of a sudden they come running in, screaming and i see a blurry envelope flying around- they ripped it to shreds before i really even knew what it was (yeah, it was like Christmas morning)... they were just a little excited...and they LOVE their new watches!!

Thanks Nans and Pops for thinking of us!! XOXOX
Saturday Afternoon we took a drive down to Charles City (about an hour southeast towards the coast from Richmond) to a friend's River house... we enjoyed an amazing BBQ Dinner, Swimming and River activities!! It was a great afternoon!

SundayOur awesome Cousins: Kurt and Linda and kids came to church with us! It was fun spend the day together. After Church we sat back and enjoyed their company and a little 4th of July BBQ...
Here are the kids watching Kung Fu Panda
Porter, Will, Caitlin, Caleb and Isaac!!

We realized that we LOVE these guys so much and can't wait to get together again! Yippy for living 30 minutes away from each other!
Weekend didn't stop with Sunday night... We were thrilled that Justin had off work on
Monday... we took advantage of the hot, hot day by going to the pool and just haven' a good old time at home! and when we thought it couldn't get any better??? ... Our Neighbors across the street had us over for a delicious BBQ Dinner! It was a lot of fun, we could have stayed up all night laughing and sharing stories!!
Every weekend should be like the 4th of July!!
