Noodle Horses and Indoor Picnics

Whoopy, it's Friday... a day we usually pack up a picnic and meet Daddy for lunch at a park! BUT it's supposed to be 104 degrees today!! So we opted to go to a place with an indoor playground!

Before we left the kids were being so cute... playing with their swimming noodles (pretending they were horses!)

I had to turn my flash off, because Will wasn't into 'getting his picture taken'... so the next few pics are a little dark and fuzzy... but still cute!


After lunch we got the kids an ice cream cone... I was holding Brinley's... and asked Will to give her a small bite of his... he did and she grabbed it RIGHT out of his hands!! So, i just handed him the one i was holding for her... it was the funniest thing I've ever seen...

Yorktown Beach

Justin's friend at work, Jason, invited our family to join theirs on a 'last minute' beach trip last Saturday... We were thrilled to pack up and follow them out to a small beach we've never been to before... YORKTOWN!!
Yorktown sits where the James River and Ocean meet... It's a lot less crowded than any other beach we've been to.. and a lot closer...
it's a cute little place, that offers history tours as well as sunshine and sand!

Howdy Partner... BBQ Birthday Party

Last Friday night friends from church had a little BBQ birthday party for their daughter and invited a few families to get together and celebrate!!

Will was SO- SUPER-EXCITED... because his BEST FRIEND, Jared was coming to the party too! I barely caught this picture of the two.... when Jared first arrived to the park... Will greeted his BFF with open arms...
