Personal Progress Raffle

The Young Women's presidency in our ward started a personal progress raffle for our young women: for every value a young women passes off they get to put a raffle ticket into the box and they pick a name or two each month. They had asked ward members, if they were interested to stop by the dollar store and pick up a thing or two if they were interested in helping out... I thought I'd make a few of my headbands and clips for them instead... this is what i came up with!

Mothers Day Gift...

Justin and the kids were so sweet to get me a crock pot for Mother's day!! I love it! Thanks Loves...it's so nice and shiny... (plus, it matches my kitchen appliances perfectly...) It will make many wonderful dinners for years to come! Now, if it only did the dishes and folded the laundry... i'd be in heaven!

Reason for a new one, you ask??
This is what happened to my old crock pot... That was a sad day in the Cracroft household.
P.S. Don't... i repeat...Don't turn your lid upside down and store under sink... (esp in humid climates)... "because Monday: Crock Pot... Wednesday: No Crock Pot!!" (Madagascar 2, reference)

healthy wholewheat pancakes (waffles)

1 cup wholewheat flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbs. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tbs. vegetable oil

Combine all ingredients and beat until well-mixed. Bake on hot griddle and serve with fruit or syrup.
