Happy Halloween!

FRIDAY was the Kindergarten Story Book Halloween Parade at Will's school! The kids were supposed to dress up like a story book character and the whole morning was designed around activities having to do with Autumn! (I was so happy i signed up to be a parent volunteer... i had a blast being with the kids and seeing my little Wilbur at school!)

I helped the kids draw a picture of who they were in the story book parade, and we put those papers together and made a little book!
Will at the Skittle Station, they each got a snack size skittles candy, that they opened, sorted the colors and colored a graph! Then they got to eat 2 skittles and take the rest home for later!
There was a pumpkin station with 3 different sized pumpkins that the kids had to estimate how much they weighed and how big around they thought they were by cutting string to go around they pumpkins... then they took turns looking at them finding the bumpiest, smoothest, heaviest etc... it was funny to see will try and pick up the heaviest pumpkin!

After we were all done, the kids had their snack time... here's Will getting his snack out of his satchel! (cute, he didn't want to take his backpack to school as Eugine!)
I decided to take a walk to Caitlin's class to peek in on her, and how she was doing... along the wall i found this cute poem she wrote about fall... love the cute pictures...
After picking up Brinley from my buddy Brooke's house, She invited me and another friend to go to IHOP where Kids were getting FREE Spooky Pancakes!! We had a Screaming good time!!

FRIDAY NIGHT, Will and Mommy went to redeem Will's Good Deeds movie tickets and we went to see Puss in Boots! What a fun date!

Here are the kids at the Trunk or Treat... (it was raining, so we were inside for the dinner part but we were able to go out for the Treating part!) We had a really good time, Aunt Maxine and her Brother Uncle Ernie were visiting from Ill... AND my Chili WON first place in the White Chili contest! Yay! Click HERE for my revised RECIPE!!
