¾ c peanut butter
½ c butter flavored Crisco
1 ¼ c brown sugar
3 T milk
1 T vanilla
1 egg
1 ¾ c flour
¾ t salt
¾ t baking soda
Hershey Kisses
In large mixing bowl cream together peanut butter, Crisco, and sugar. Add milk and vanilla, mix again until smooth and creamy. Add egg, beat one minute. Add flour, salt, and baking soda.
Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Take cookies out of oven one minute before they look DONE... let them continue cooking on cookie sheet for a few minutes...Place Hershey Kiss in middle of cookie (or dust with sugar) cool completely or place them in the fridge.
This recipe is also good with Reese’s pieces candies (mix with dough before baking) or with sugar sprinkled on it after it comes out of the oven!

I never know how to eat these. Usually I put most of it in my mouth, but then the chocolate stabs the top of my mouth.
My recommendation for eating... put it where it can soften, somewhere warm, then don't be bashful and open wide! No sense taking little bites out of these tasty treats. :)
I clicked on your blog, and as soon as the page came up, baby (who is sitting on my lap) points and says, "Oooooo!"
Consider that a MAJOR compliment as she is the reigning cookie monster in our house!
And in response to Brinley's picture, she squealed with delight!
